At Book Print Broker, we believe authors deserve to know how technology is used in the services they pay for. This page explains how we use artificial intelligence (AI) and, just as importantly, where we do not.
Where we do NOT use AI
- We never use AI to read, edit, rewrite, translate, summarise or generate content from your manuscript or book files.
- We never upload your manuscripts, cover files or print-ready PDFs to any AI tool, and we never use them to train AI models.
- We do not use AI to produce your book’s text, cover or artwork.
Where we do use AI
- We use AI-based writing assistants to help draft replies to enquiries and to prepare marketing content (newsletters, social media posts). Every message is reviewed and sent by a member of our team.
- We use automated tools to help us manage quotes and customer communication. Prices in our online quote calculator are calculated by a fixed set of rules, not by AI.
Human oversight
Every customer has a human contact from quote to delivery. Final decisions on quotes, file checks, proofs and production are always made by people.
Your choice
AI is not required to produce your book. If you prefer that none of your emails or project details are processed with AI-based tools, tell us when you place your order and we will handle your project without them.
