Terms of Sale

Working draft — legal review required before publishing. This draft Terms of Sale was prepared as a starting point. It is not legal advice and must be reviewed and validated by a qualified legal professional (ideally one familiar with both applicable consumer law and Polish regulations, given the company’s status) before final publication. The company’s full legal details (registered name, NIP number, registered address) are intentionally omitted from this draft; they will need to be added in line with applicable pre-contractual information requirements, or made accessible by another compliant means, before publishing.

1. Purpose and Scope

These Terms of Sale govern the sale of book printing services and personalized goodies made through the website www.bookprintbroker.com (the “Site”), operated by Book Print Broker (the “Seller”), to its customers (the “Customer”). Placing an order on the Site constitutes unreserved acceptance of these Terms.

2. Products and Quotes

The products offered are book printing and personalized item services, produced to the Customer’s specifications (format, paper, finishes, print run, supplied files). The online quote calculator provides an estimate; the final price is confirmed when the order is validated.

3. Price and VAT

Displayed prices are inclusive of all taxes, unless stated otherwise. The applicable VAT rate depends on the nature of the item ordered (printed book or not), the delivery country, and, for business customers within the European Union, the validity of the intra-EU VAT number provided. The applicable rate is shown on the quote and then on the invoice.

4. Order

An order is considered final once the quote has been validated, delivery and billing information entered, and payment made in full or according to the terms stated at checkout. A confirmation email is sent to the Customer at the address provided.

5. Payment Terms

Payment is made online, at the time of ordering, by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) or by SEPA bank transfer. Orders are processed only once payment has been received.

6. Production and Delivery Times

Production and delivery times are provided as an estimate at the time of ordering and may vary depending on print run, chosen finishes, and the partner printer involved. A reasonable delay does not entitle the Customer to cancel the order, except in the case of a clearly excessive delay reported to the Seller.

7. Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with EU consumer rights regulations, the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the Customer’s specifications or clearly personalized. As the products offered on the Site (custom-printed books, personalized goodies) fall into this category, no withdrawal can generally be exercised once an order has been validated, except with the Seller’s express agreement.

8. Conformity and Complaints

If a defect or damage is found on receipt, the Customer is asked to contact the Seller as soon as possible, with photographs, so that a solution (reprint, partial or full refund) can be offered.

9. Intellectual Property and Customer-Supplied Content

The Customer warrants that they hold all necessary rights to the text, images, and files submitted for printing, and indemnifies the Seller against any third-party claim in this regard. The Seller does not verify rights to the content supplied.

10. Liability

The Seller cannot be held liable for damages resulting from abnormal use of the Site, an event of force majeure, or errors in Customer-supplied content (typos, layout, insufficient image resolution) not reported before the order was validated.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the law applicable at the Seller’s place of establishment, without prejudice to any mandatory protective provisions the Customer benefits from under their national law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first; failing that, the competent courts will be those provided for under applicable regulations.

12. Contact

For any question about an order or these Terms, the Customer may contact the Seller via the quote request form or the contact details shown on their invoice.
